Brazilian beaches are famous all over the world and have diverse geographical characteristics. They are formed by sediments, mainly sandy, accumulated by the action of the waves.

Beaches for children: Calm and with warm waters, which is ideal for playing and swimming
Types of beaches

Beaches on the northeast coast, with reefs, coconut groves, dunes, cliffs, sandbanks, lagoons and mangroves
Beaches on the southeast coast, with low sandy coasts, coves, dunes, lagoons and lakes.

Brazil’s coastline is 7,491 kilometers long, making it the 15th largest national coastline in the world.
